Develop a broad foundation for project delivery and professional exam preparation.

Your regular rhythm includes two hours of weekly teaching, two to three hours of weekly guided reading, seven hours for the monthly assignment, a one-hour monthly coaching presentation and a one-hour employer review every ten weeks. Your individual training plan allocates all required occupational learning and protected paid training time.
Your apprenticeship assessment and any professional examination are separate processes. KBC will explain the applicable assessment plan, evidence expectations and included professional support before enrolment.
The learning route includes PMP preparation and applied AI development. PMP certification is awarded by PMI and requires its own eligibility and examination process. The AFIPC Level 4 Associate Fellow route is subject to the Institute of Project Controls’ requirements and the confirmed KBC offer.
Project coordinators, assistant project managers, workstream leads and professionals managing projects across business, technology, engineering or operations. KBC will discuss your starting point and learning needs before confirming a place.
The team will confirm the price, any applicable funding or bursary, included assessments and optional extras in your written offer. Apprenticeship funding is subject to eligibility and employer circumstances.
External qualifications, memberships and chartered designations have their own requirements. Completing a KBC course does not automatically award every linked professional designation.

Professor Amgad Badewi is CEO of Kent Business College and a former Reader of Project Controls and Management at Kent Business School. He completed his PhD at Cranfield University in 2016 and received APM’s Herbert Walton Award that year. His teaching connects project controls, governance and benefits management with research and professional practice.
Andrew is an Associate Professor of Project Management and Controls at KBC and a Chartered Project Professional. His career includes Eurofighter Typhoon development and leading QinetiQ’s global project management team. His expertise covers complex programmes, governance, assurance and capability development. He holds a postgraduate certificate from Alliance Manchester Business School.
Ray is a Founding Partner of p3m global and co-author of Delivering Successful PMOs. He helps organisations develop project, programme and portfolio management capability through consultancy, training and delivery. His international experience includes IT and telecommunications. He also mentors project professionals through the Association for Project Management.
