About Event

Organised by Kent Business College, the London Masterclass is designed for senior professionals who want practical, high-quality learning that connects directly to workplace performance. The event brings together C-level executives, employers, marketing managers, project managers and project control professionals for a focused day of expert-led insight, professional discussion and meaningful networking across marketing, project delivery and organisational capability.

Attendees will gain practical, workplace-ready insights that can be applied to real business challenges. The event will explore advanced project control, strategic marketing, AI, governance, risk, customer engagement and performance improvement, helping professionals strengthen decision-making and delivery. It will also provide opportunities to connect with peers and industry specialists, while exploring progression routes and development pathways that support long-term professional and organisational growth.

Beyond the sessions, the London Masterclass creates a valuable space for senior professionals to step out of day-to-day delivery and exchange ideas with peers facing similar challenges. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with employers, specialists, tutors and industry voices across marketing, project management and project controls. These conversations can support collaboration, benchmarking and fresh thinking around capability development. The event also highlights progression pathways, helping individuals and organisations understand how professional training, apprenticeships and recognised qualifications can support long-term growth, stronger performance and more confident career development in fast-moving business environments across current and emerging professional roles today.

For employers and senior leaders, the London Masterclass offers more than professional learning; it is a chance to explore how skills development can support organisational performance. The employer-focused elements will look at apprenticeship levy opportunities, workforce capability, curriculum alignment and the strategic value of investing in people. Attendees will gain a clearer view of how marketing, project control and leadership development can strengthen delivery, improve decision-making and support future-ready teams. By bringing together employers, learners and industry specialists, the event creates a practical forum for shaping development pathways that meet real business needs with practical outcomes that can be actioned.

Why We Made Our London Masterclass a OneDay Shoot That Keeps Working

We brought in a London video production company as our official production partner for The London Masterclass — and walked away with a content library, not a single clip.

Why We Made Our London Masterclass a OneDay Shoot That Keeps Working

Official Media Partner

When you spend months planning an event, the easy mistake is to treat the footage as a souvenir - one highlights video, posted once, and then forgotten. For the second edition of The London Masterclass, our annual gathering for apprenticeship learners and employers, we decided to do the opposite. We treated the day as a content investment, and we brought in a partner who works that way by default. That partner was We Stream, a London video production company (westream.uk). We engaged them as the official production partner for the event, covering both video and photography across the full programme. Violetta Coretnic, We Stream’s co-founder, also delivered a partner keynote to our marketing cohort. This is our account of how that worked - what we briefed, what We Stream delivered, and what our audience actually took away.

01 / THE EVENT One day, one venue, 200 delegates The London Masterclass 2026 took place on Friday 5 June 2026 at The Cumberland Hotel, 1 Great Cumberland Place, London W1H 7AL. As the organisers, our goal for the day was twofold: deliver genuine career-development value to our learners through panels and workshops, and demonstrate to prospective learners and employers what Kent Business College actually offers. The programme combined our Marketing and PCB (project and change-based) tracks, a learner-recognition ceremony for the cohort graduating this month, and an employer forum. 200 delegates attended across the full day, with our marketing sessions drawing the largest individual audience. For Violetta’s keynote, we combined both Marketing Level 4 and Level 6 learners in the room. For a single day of filming, that is a lot of ground to cover: simultaneous workshop rooms, a stage programme, an awards ceremony for our highest-achieving students, partner booths, and learner interviews during breaks. We needed a production team that could move through all of it without us having to choreograph them.

02 / THE PRODUCTION One shoot day. 156 videos. 400 photographs. Delivered the next morning. We Stream covered the event across a single shoot day, 9am to 5pm on 5 June 2026. What came back was not one deliverable but a working library - delivered to us on the evening of 6 June 2026, ready to use the next day we would first want to post. They captured 156 individual video clips - the raw material from which we can cut our highlights reel, speaker and mentor insights, panel coverage, and workshop moments - alongside over 400 photographs, covering everything from workshop sessions and panel discussions to the group photographs of our learners and coaches, and the award ceremony recognising our top-performing students.

What stood out to us was the approach. Rather than parking a camera in front of one panel for an hour, the crew worked in deliberate, edit-ready coverage - close-ups of each speaker, mid-shots, and wide shots of the room - so that everything would cut together cleanly later. The footage was structured for editing from the moment it was shot, which is the difference between material you have to rescue in the edit and material that is already working for you. It is also why the numbers matter. A single day of filming produced enough distinct material to populate weeks of posts across LinkedIn, Instagram, and our website: recap videos, speaker and mentor insight clips, workshop moments, fresh photography of our learners and organising team, event imagery to replace generic stock, and photographs from the awards ceremony that our graduates will actually want to share.
