Commercial credit value
Each four-month course credit has a commercial tuition value of £4,000 GBP. The Project Management Professional or Certified Associate in Project Management route is treated as a two-credit course. Most other listed courses are one credit.
Apprenticeship route
Eligible apprenticeship programmes may be fully funded through Department for Education apprenticeship funding arrangements where learner, employer and programme conditions are met.
Institute of Project Controls Fund
The Institute of Project Controls Fund may support eligible applicants by contributing towards tuition fees, subject to pathway, evidence and approval criteria.

Institute of Project Controls: up to 75% support
For eligible unemployed or self-employed learners, the Institute of Project Controls Fund may cover up to 75% of tuition fees, subject to approval.
Institute of Project Controls: up to 50% support
For eligible employed learners, the Institute of Project Controls Fund may cover up to 50% of tuition fees, with the employer contributing the remaining share, subject to approval.

What is the difference between a course and a programme?
A course is a focused four-month credit. A programme is a structured group of courses that build towards a larger professional pathway, apprenticeship route or career outcome.
When do courses start?
The main course start dates are September, January and April. The team will confirm the most suitable intake for your selected course or programme.
Are these courses only for Project Management Office professionals?
No. They are also suitable for project engineers, project controllers, planners, schedulers, cost controllers, cost engineers, estimators, reporting analysts, risk professionals, delivery leads, project managers and employers building project capability.
Can I study while working full time?
Yes. The learning model is designed for working professionals, but learners must protect time for live sessions, independent study, workplace application and assessment preparation.
Funding eligibility for apprenticeships: can the programme be 100% funded?
Potentially yes, where the apprenticeship funding rules are met. Typical checks include living and working in England, spending at least 50% of working time in England over the apprenticeship, employer support for the learner to study around seven to eight hours per week as protected off-the-job learning where applicable, and confirmation that wages meet minimum apprenticeship wage rules. There is no maximum age, seniority or salary requirement, provided all funding, employment and programme rules are satisfied.
