We are pleased to invite you to join our fully funded Project Management Professional development programme, featuring practical applications in AI Agents and AI Dashboards.

Apprenticeships in the UK are not limited by age, job title, or income level. They involve learning while working, gaining practical skills and knowledge on the job, regardless of one’s background or current position.

Study Workload

8.5 hrs/week (during paid working hours):

  • Classes: 2.5 hrs/week (recordings available; catch-ups provided)
  • Reading & Quizzes: 3 hrs/week
  • Reflective Reports: 3 hrs/week (workplace application)

Funding & What’s Included

The total cost of the programme is £8,000, with £7,000 funded by the Department for Education and an additional £1,000 covered by the Kent Business College Fund.

  1. Department for Education Fund: Apprenticeship tuition (100% for levy payers; 95% for non-levy with 5% employer contribution – £350 total or £35/month for 10 months). This fund includes tutoring services, learning materials, and an apprenticeship certificate.
  2. Kent Business College Fund (Not Covered by DfE): Covers professional exam fees, memberships, APM ChPP application & preparation, and ICostE / Certified Professional Cost Engineer pathways, limited to the first 10 learners per cohort. This fund includes:
  1. Membership, registration & exam fees
  2. Workshop travel
  3. Graduation ceremony & rewards (incl. laptop prize)
  4. No hidden costs

Eligibility Criteria

  • UK resident for the past 3 years
  • Must not require sponsorship to work (must hold a British Passport, Indefinite Leave to Remain, or Tier 2 visa with at least three years of UK residency)
  • Not enrolled in other government-funded training at the time of this programme
  • Self-employed individuals are not eligible for DfE funding
  • Paid employment in England (normally 30+ hrs/week; minimum 16)
  • Employer based in England and registered with the Apprenticeship Service
  • Spend at least 50% of their working hours within England

If you are not eligible for apprenticeship funding

You may not be eligible for Department for Education apprenticeship funding if your employer is unable to support your apprenticeship, if you are self-employed, unemployed, or if you do not live and work in England.

However, you may still be eligible for support through the Kent Business College Fund and the Institute of Project Controls (IPC).

  • Unemployed, self-employed, or not supported by your employer:
    You may be eligible for a 70% bursary, reducing the programme fee to £2,400. Payment can be spread over 20 months with no interest, at £120 per month.
  • Employed and funded directly by your employer:
    Your employer may be eligible for a 50% bursary, reducing the programme fee to £4,000. Payment can be spread over 20 months with no interest, at £200 per month.

All bursaries are subject to acceptance by Kent Business College, and places are limited.

  1. Sign the Digital Contract: As an employer, please carefully review the entire contract and sign it using the following link: Sign the Agreement.
  2. Add Us to the Apprenticeship Digital Account Service (DAS): Log in to your Government Apprenticeship DAS account Government Apprenticeship DAS – If your employer does not have an account, you only need the Government Gateway credentials (username and password) to create an account. Once created, add us as your provider using our UKPRN: 10093689. Watch here
