Your career information.

Kent Business College provides this career guidance service. Account details are managed by Neon Auth. Career profiles, assessment responses, reports and dated consent choices are stored in KBC’s Neon database. These are private account records: employers and other learners cannot access them through this service.

The core service uses your information to save progress and provide the report you request. Before report writing, you choose whether your career summary, education, CV and LinkedIn text, aggregated interest/personality scores and skills evidence may be processed through Neon’s AI gateway, powered by Databricks and its configured model provider. The report is produced with automated assistance; review it before relying on it. Your name, email, LinkedIn URL, individual questionnaire answers, family notes and optional wellbeing answers are excluded from this model request. Do not paste health details, identity document numbers, confidential employer data or another person’s contact details into career text.

Optional wellbeing answers are sensitive information. A separate explicit choice allows KBC to store them for your own reflection. They are never sent to the report-writing model, used to rank jobs, included in research or used for marketing. They are excluded from the default PDF; you may choose a private appendix when downloading. Withdrawing wellbeing consent clears the stored answers when you save.

Optional service-quality review allows use of non-health career information to improve the service. A separate optional research choice allows use of de-identified non-health assessment and skills data for KBC research; de-identification is not a promise that every dataset is anonymous. A separate optional email-marketing choice covers KBC courses, events and services. Declining these options does not affect free access. No advertising pixels or course-marketing emails are activated by this page. Job alerts have their own separate opt-in.

Optional job alerts use only the alert preferences you confirm: pathway, job title, England location, working arrangement, salary threshold and work preferences. Your verified account email is used for delivery. KBC’s connected ChatGPT automation searches Joblet and checks vacancy sources, then uses automated assistance to explain relevant matches. Messages are sent through KBC’s Microsoft Outlook account, Office@kentbusinesscollege.com. Neither health answers, personality scores, CV text nor family information is used for email matching. There is at most one digest each day when suitable new jobs are found. Provider availability and checks can delay delivery. Unsubscribe from any job email or switch alerts off in your profile; a message already handed to the mail service may still arrive. Job alerts do not require course-marketing consent and include no course promotions.

Career profiles and reports remain saved until you remove them. Use “Remove my career data” to delete your profile, reports, alert preferences and delivery history without deleting your enrolment application or account. A minimal record of consent withdrawal and dated consent choices is retained for accountability; it contains no assessment answers. Contact KBC for account deletion, access, correction or questions about retention and provider processing. Provider logs and backups may have separate retention and international-processing arrangements; KBC does not promise immediate deletion from all provider systems.
