Dr Trevor Gerhardt is an academic specialising in work-based and work-integrated learning and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. His experience includes curriculum development, programme leadership and research into learning through professional practice.

He contributes to the Universities Association for Lifelong Learning’s SEEC network and the European Society for Research on the Education of Adults’ Working Life and Learning Network.
