Advanced Project & logistics Management

The Advanced Project and Logistics Management module combines strategic project, programme,
and portfolio management principles with an advanced exploration of supply chain and logistics
ecosystems. It is distinctive in that it develops both governance and control capability (as with APMG’s
Project Planning and Control and PMI’s PMO qualifications) and the ability to manage global supply
chains and IT integration, a critical area for multinational operations. Compared to PPC (APMG), which
focuses on operational planning, scheduling, and control at the project level, this module takes a
broader view of governance by examining portfolio management and PMO structures. Compared to
PMO (PMI), which emphasises governance maturity and organisational oversight, this module extends
the analysis into global logistics and IT frameworks, giving it a more applied supply chain and
operations flavour. It is therefore positioned within the strategic pathway, suited to professionals such
as Project Operations Directors, Heads of PMO, Project Directors, Senior Portfolio Managers, and
Projects Supply Chain Managers working in international environments
